okie.. whatever, i went to watch "VACANCY" (all thanks to jacinth help or else cant load this photo)



This riveting thriller features Luke Wilson and Kate Beckinsale as a couple whose car breaks down, stranding them at a very dangerous hotel. Director Nimrod Antal carefully builds the suspense as the film gradually leads to horror when the hotel turns out to be a snuff film operation, with cameras everywhere and lots of truly horrific videos of past murders (shot in the same room) lying atop the TV set. The couple needs to think fast before they become the next victims.

OKIE! i rate 3.5/5 stars for it. but i still have to admit, i do admire the director. he is so damn power.

BUDGET MOVIE AND YET, YOU COULDN'T FEEL IT IS BUDGET. BUT I CAN prove it...

1. a total of only 7 actors ( if the one spoilting the car and one of the masked man are different guy, but i doubt so.) and 1 actress.

SO THAT ADDS UP TO 8 CHARACTERS.

2. only two scene in the movie. the highway and the motel. that is all.

but after all, this show do scare me off. most of the time was covering my eyes. it thrills me to the bone.

can you imagine such movie with so little resources and still, transfer the response and effect to its viewer.

i guess no one will think it is budget unless others had mentioned it to you.

nevertheless, it is a nice movie... please watch...
