There is always one day where you will feel so disgrace and embarrass because you did something so fucking stupid. Something that you can never imagine yourself doing it AT ALL!!!!

As everyone knows that I am freaking worn-out because of my Bangkok trip and I have yet to recover back my beauty sleep. Something happen this morning… and it begins like this…

As usual I woke up late and I rush to bath and left house hoping to catch my last shuttle bus. It was like having to shower, dress up and make up within 20mins?

There I was waiting for bus and rushing to take the train…

When I was about to reach City Hall, there is this man in formal wear came and approach me. I was listening to my blasting music when he wanna talk to me so I have to remove my ear phone before I can hear him, after which… he told me this….

I was like “NO!” and I ignored his remark…

But I pay attention to my blouse and see if what he say was true… and it FUCKING TURN OUT TO BE TRUE…

I WORE WRONGLY SINCE I LEFT MY HOUSE, TO I TOOK THE BUS THEN TO THE TRAIN STATION AND I EVEN TOOK THE TRAIN TO CITY HALL BEFORE I KNEW THAT I WAS EMBARRASSING MYSELF…

Luckily next stop is City Hall, I quickly rush out of the train. Praying no one else will notice it and walked calmly to the toilet and change it. FUCKING EMBARRASSING!

Please do not be surprise why I am overly excited regarding my Bangkok trip. It has been sooooo long since I last had a holiday. I wanna relax my mind, my body and to enjoy. Haven been pampering myself lately, working is always my priority.

Steps to make really hot milo.
1. Pour the mixture to your cup.
2. Add in hot water.
3. Put it in the microwave (please be caution as the water might overflow if place in too long, about half a min is the time)
4. Tata~ hot milo

Please do not laugh. This is really what I did this morning. The hot water dispenser is freaky lousy, water aint hot at all.

OMG… you are like so adorable…

These days have been giving baby morning call as he needs to rush his major project report. Baby likes to drag his work till the very last minute. Scene like grabbing and pulling his hair, screaming and yelling at the top of his lung, facing the computer (ESP. Microsoft Words) 24 hours, complaining how much work he has to rush without how many days…

Lol…

I am so used to it already. Every morning there is always this negotiation session with baby.
Read our conversation and you will understand what I mean:

Me: Wake up now!!! It is 10am already and you need to rush your project…
Baby: 10.30am 10.30am
Me: No. Faster wake up! Or else no time to complete.
Baby: half an hour… half an hour… (At this moment, he sounded like a kid making his mommy to buy toy for him.)
Me: No… faster wake up…
Baby: 10.20am 10.20am
Me: Must wake up by then ar!!! Need to do project.

Every morning the same conversation will goes on and on again without fail. But that is also because he is very exhausted and drained out.

Everything is going to be over soon alright? (Tomorrow is the day for submission.)

So pissed off yesterday.

Was updating my blog then I write till almost completed, my company STUPID system went down… and my entry went down the drain…

System down = nothing to do = chit chatting session.

But still, very boring. I was reading magazine till I almost fell asleep. YA, that is how boring it is.

System went down so it means I cannot even go Microsoft words. SUCKS…

Anyway, as I mentioned I went to my friends’ birthday chalet, the birthday boys are Brandon and Anselm. (21st year old twin.)

And then, I should add on. I went with Eileen and Adeline and all three of us were force to drink till we drop by Brandon who keep insisting on questions like “how long I know you already?” and “it is my 21st birthday lei!!!” to force us to drink as he was already drunk.

So the three of us accompanied him to drink till we were partial drunk too. And Adeline actually vomited 3 times. BRANDON, I hope you will attend all of ours birthday celebration too. We will treat you with the same hospitality that we had received. And we will definitely make sure you are dead drunk and you will vomit many many times.

So do remember that you are invited to come to all 3 of ours’ party… starting from me, to Eileen and lastly Adeline.

Oh ya, back to the point. We went drunk and baby sent us to Adeline house to stay over. Three of us are drink and we couldn’t remember any particular thing other than Adeline (whom is the owner sleeping on the bed), Me (on the mattress that I carried over from another room) and Eileen sleeping on the floor. This is going to be a long entry due to a lot of quotation from other people. But let me start by apologising to joel and jacinth as I have gonna my pay from essence. (With the help of my bf’s mom who call complain and threaten the company.) I tried asking whether she can help to collect the pay for both of you, but she say it is kinda not related as she claimed as my mother to lodge the complaint.

I worked in this line before. And underneath all the glam as an events coordinator or higher, it actually sucks big time. As a middle-man company, if the client does not pay up, they most probably have no money to pay you in advance. No doubt $100 is a small amount. But the clients and the comapny don't look at individual amounts. They look at the overall amount cos if they pay one, it is right to only pay all. It is just how working life is. So, look on the brighter side of life! Its not that they won't pay you. Its just a matter of time.

yes i was kind of cheated by ESSENTIAL VENTURE too...they are a company who handle cases from handphone company like LG and SONY ercisson etc..they recruit promoters for them..during recruitment they will tell u they issue your pay in 30days but actually they already know they cant pay you on time..by the time u ask for pay they will just give you excuses that their client have not give them ur salary..
i worked for the whole july month..and till now i havent got my pay..its been 2monthsss..everytime i ask the event coordinator about my pay she will say its not ready and tell me to contact her next mth..and then she will say next mth and next mth again..this company is out there to cheat people..i felt cheated and angry..
i hope the ministry of manpower will do something to the company..if this goes on many people will be cheated..especially students out there who wanna work part-time to earn some allowance..i mean how can this kind of thing happen? thats ridiculous..

I was in such a situation before and I do understand the frustrations of 'carrots'. Here is what I did:

- Go MOM to file a complaint. DO NOT (sorry for the caps) wait anymore. Try to round up any of your colleagues/friends who worked with you during the roadshow and get them to go with you. Strength in numbers , and it gives your situation more weight and credibility. Remember to bring your IC. MOM will require either one of your IC to file the complaint. Next, MOM will issue a letter to the events company asking them to turn up for a resolution with you, with MOM as a middle man.

I am unable to tell you what happens after that as that stupid events company that owed my money got so worried, they paid us back our money within a week. The letter by MOM will definitely send some shivers...honestly.

Please please do not accept the retarded excuse that the delay is OCBC's problem. You are not working for OCBC but the events company. They have the responsibility to pay you regardless of OCBC's payment.

Please PM me if you have further queries. Due to my personal experience, I really do feel for this issue strongly....

actually i face the same issue.

i work work for LG during mid of june.. and only up to last week i gotten my pay.

work under this lady call izza.(very rude) she force my friend to work even though she has MC. (my friend fly kite)

then after working two shift for the company. (throughout i heard alot of bad comments abt essence) i quitted. and i was also told that within 30 days can get.

so after 2 mths. i called and i sm s(no answer or replied at all) then when one of my friend whom is working with me and quitted too sms her. she replied but she asked "WHO ARE YOU? " when my friend clearly explained whom he was, she ignored his msg.

i ask alot of times, either no reply or say haven come. 9they dont take initiative to contact you regarding your pay)

so this drags on for a mth. then my bf's mom cant stand it.

and she called and complained. (then the staff say what already inform regarding late pay and staff.) but the fact is that she only mention 30 days. so after much arguement, the lady over the phone say can collect on monday.

so my bf's mom called on monday to double confirm that the cheque is out (because i am having my attachment so my bf and his dad went down to collect for me and they are in a rush so wanna check properly.) and the lady told my bf's mom that the cheque is ready after 2pm.

then they do stunt.

my bf and his dad went down, the "SO CALLED ACCOUNTANT NOT IN" when it is already 3.30pm. and we are require to wait for her to come back before can collect pay.

the company is really very lousy and the welfare and service sucks big time....

this girl here is drawing a picture of a mountain when it is actually just a mole hill.

i am a promoter for this company and have been 1 for more than 6 months, i will give a account of what exactly happened that day..

A few promoters and i were there sitting at the couch awaiting the return of the REAL accountant to return from the bank with our pay.. they apologise to us for making us wait but you cant push the crowds at the banks can you??

this girl's bf i assume from what she said storm into the office demanding his gf pay, they told him that the accountant was away at the bank and requested politely for him to wait for 30 mins and he gave that face that everyone hated. then he left the office. soon after, his dad i persume stormed into the office, this grey hair man in formal attire, started shouting and screaming at the top of his voice. i was thinking, what a let down for a man his age and experience to cause such a din.. then a personnel told him that he told the mum that the cheque will be ready by 5pm and he came at 3.30pm and he started shouting that you think i'm so free ah? but come on people.. the appointment is 5pm and you came early at 3.30pm and u wanna make such a fuss and chaos is so unglamorous. he was then ushered into the boss's office..

i heard the pay was for lesser than $150, the troubles, the chaos, the tense situation were so avoidable if he came at 5pm.. the company policy is that the pay will be ready 60 days (2months) after u work, the process is normal for a event company who is outsourced by a MNC LG mobile. there are so many departments to go through before the pay is finally approved.. everyone just nod their head when the policy is told to them but scream and shout when they perform badly and were booted out.. sigh..

since you are a promoter there, you mention that there is a 60 days grace period(which i was inform 30days) , i have waited for more MORE THAN 90DAYS.

and i wasnt inform anything regarding when to get my pay at all... even my 'so called incharge' dint even reply my call or sms! then what is this?

i have to admit $150 is not a lump sum(but it is still my hardearn money for standing for 2days and trying hard to sell the phones.

if you are a parent and your child work for the money ,for 3 mths there aint anynews regarding her pay.. what will you do? put yourself in the shoes.

and till now, both my other friends whom went in to work tgt with me haven even receive their pay. (they ask for it.. .but still ,not given at all.)

so tell me now, what other methods to demand for pay?

if it a good company, will you have to wait for 3 mths? and no response?

is totally bullsh*t.

i am working RIGHT NOW FOR SAMSUNG MOBILE under TBC... why dint i face such a problem? and my grace period is ONLY 15 DAYS.

what i am tryin to put across is that if they have no money to pay back in time (as written in the contract) they should have told us.. (then it is when we decide whether WE wanna work for it) and not work already then keep dragging the pay... AINT IT IS JUST LIKE A SCAM?

that is why they are always SHORT of promoters.

and as for you, you mention you work for 6 mths already.. (so that means you have pass through the 3mths without getting any money at all...) then now you are taking money in monthly...

so that means:

you work for...

1st mth : NO MONEY
2nd mth: NO MONEY
3rd mth: NO MONEY
4th mth: GET YOUR FIRST MONTH PAY
5th: GET YOUR 2ND MONTH PAY...

and so on...

people who work are either earning money to live a life... or urgent need... (which student wants to work if they have enuff money to spend on?

OH YA, it was AFTER 2 PM , IF YOU CAN UNDERSTAND WHAT IT MEANS.

p.s: talk to lawyer and waiting to proceed a lawyer letter to mom to stop ppl from being scam by you or the company

Im with staywitme on this. I used to be from events company as an account executive (not accounts ok haha) 30 days is acceptable but companies do have the responsibility to update on the payment status if they cant fulfil it on time.

Working is like trading. A staff gives her time and effort for the company and its being exchanged for money. In NO way shd the staff been made to feel 'small' or unimportant irregardless of how much the pay is. The company shd be responsible enough to be prompt in their payment or at least before the grace period.

And yes, no one shd endure any attitudes. If the company does not have the courtesy to update you, by all means go pester for your salary. Fact is alot of companies take advantage of teenagers especially so dont be a victim.

Staywitme is only sharing her experience ppl cld learn from. I totally agree with her. =)

but the big problem is that, baby shows the forum to his mom who is so pissed off with the "galoutloud" as she had insulted her husband and her son...

so instead of going through mps to write letter to mom,she send in as an individual.

but to me, i still felt baby shouldn't do something like that. knowing his mother's character, it will boils her if she see the forum.. and i know why she gave it to his mom to see... (because he wasn't happy with the :galoutloud" too.)
