Finally i can update one decent post with photographs. After working for two weeks, now i am going to face the leaving of Ms Pearl. I am going to take over her post, how can i show the buyers that i can do better than her?

Anyway, just some outdated post.

I went to Sentosa with Darling one day to post celebrate my birthday and i haven been updating it for ages... (Like who is going to care???) LOL...

The day we went to sentosa was very crowded unlike the other visits. We have decided to purchase the package of going to the Butterflies Park, Merlion, 4D Matrix, Sky Tower, On top of that, we go for Luge, Underwater World and lastly, Picnic.

Talking about my job, i am currently working over at the NTUC Fairprice centre (HQ) and i am working as a team leader in the purchasing support department. MY scope of working is to focus on the import.

Since today is Public Holiday, i shall not talk anything in relates to work. oh ya, but i do wake up everyday at 6am so to get ready and prepare myself to leave house at 7am, to make myself in time to report to work at 8.30am. =)

everyday, i have to take 3 buses just to get to work. Haven been wanting to go out daily eversince i started work.

has been so tired when everyday to me is like 6am to 8pm of work since financial year is closing?

working is so tough and life is so short.

1. Going over to sentosa this following sunday
2. Attending Topshop fashion show this coming wednesday
3. Going for my last camp in TP this following weekend.
4. If everything goes as planned, i am going batam on the 4th-6th April

6. Pearl (my teacher in the company) is leaving on the 3th of April

okie... just some updates!

i went over to NTUC Fairprice to start my bonding session. it was very sudden as i only went down for interview on Monday and the HR actually called on Tuesday to ask me to report to work on Wednesday...


that is how random!

so i went for my first day of work not knowing what job scope, title and which department i am working under. only after about an hour or two i realise that i was allocated as a team leader in the purchasing support team and also, i am suppose to master the whole operation plan within two weeks as the lady who is in-charge has to leave the company.


wtf!

after some explaination by Pearyl, the original in-charge, there are plenty of things for me to master and to do when i takeover.

we call it "sai kang"

let me briefly tell you what i am suppose to do...

bill of lading, arrival notice, purchasing notice as well as tax invoice all belongs to me.

i am suppose to compute the handling charges for the goods imported. eg : housebrand, wine, beer, frozen foods.

then have to receive the arrival notice and do ALOT of documentation then to pay back the supplier.

so i am counted as a mini finance department.

worse of all, the temp staff that is assisting pearyl is leaving too...


help me!!!

oh well, i know i haven been blogging a decent entry from a long time but i do have a proper excuse. i was having my last examination in my polytechnic life followed by house moving and then the IT show 2008.

i was working for Dell in the IT show 2008 and this was my first time working for a IT show, it was pretty tough for me to adapt from mobile selling to computer selling.

totally confused with the:
RAM?
HDD?
Core quad processor?
how many GHz?

but luckily darling gone through some of the questions that usually customers will asked, i did not made myself a fool infront of others.

=)


and i am so so so tempted to buy a desktop or a brand new laptop. it is like so worth buying... i guessed i will pamper myself when i get myself a proper job with a stable pay.

haha...

i went for NTUC fairprice interview today with the accompany of darling. it was early in the morning, travelling from tampines to upper thomson rd all by public transport (and also, with darling complaining all the while from we travelled till we reached)

i was offered three positions in NTUC Fairprice:

1. Team Leader
2. Inventory planner
3. inventory department doing tradenet for import/export of liqor

i will only be informed next week so i will update here in my blog ya.

then i went over to the AMK Hub with darling and we decided to watch "10,000BC", it was fantastic and i would greatly recommanded to everyone. it is as good as "300".

and we spend like $25 in arcade? LOL

last but not least, i just tried to learn photoshop with some dummy guide. here are a few photographs that i haved tried editing.

today went for the celebration of learning for my course, LOM. it is an event organise by the years 2 to celebrate the leaving of the graduating seniors.

there are a few touchy moments where tears swelling up in my eyes many many times.

i am now a alumni of temasek polytechnic, school of business, dip. in Logistics operating management.

going for Dell's training tomorrow, will be working for Dell in Sitex 2008. =)

i have just moved my house from 498g to blk 882 yesterday.

woke up at 7.30am and hitched darling's ride over to my new house waiting for the movers to shift the things over to my house at 8.30am. In the end the movers came late, left my place at about 1pm.

the whole house moving took from 7.30am to 6.00pm?

and worse thing is that, the wallet that i have hand carried over, was gone!!!

how am i suppose to report to the policeman?

dear policeman, i lost my wallet AT HOME!


fucked!
